KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, continues to spread across the world, and in Missouri and Kansas.
41 Action News is keeping track of all closings and cancellations, as well as tracking where positive coronavirus cases are located.
We are also keeping track of which metro jurisdictions are under stay at home orders for the foreseeable future, only allowing for essential business and activities.

12:30 p.m. | Kansas now has 3,209 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 118 deaths, according to new data released Sunday. The Kansas City area currently has 2,100 positive cases.

8:30 a.m. | Douglas County, KS is issuing guidelines on severe weather preparedness during a pandemic. The National Weather Service and Emergency Management agree that during a tornado warning, the first priority should be protection from a potential tornado, even if this means temporarily breaking social distancing. The county will have three different public buildings open in Lawrence when a tornado warning is issued.
7:30 a.m. | B&B Theatres is offering curbside concession pickup to help support furloughed employees during the coronavirus pandemic. The B&B locations in Overland Park, Shawnee, Lee's Summit, Liberty and the Northland are all offering curbside pickup.
