PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A storm system will likely bring severe weather to the southeast this weekend.
The main event will be Sunday night overnight into early Monday (much like last weekend). The main threats as of now are damaging winds and embedded tornadoes along the line of storms.
With the timing bringing the severe threat overnight Sunday, it is important to make sure you have a way to receive weather warnings that will be able to wake you up.
There are several options you can use to receive weather warnings. The first is using a NOAA weather radio, If you have a smart phone, make sure you enable weather warnings, you can also download the free WJHG Weather App. Whatever option you use, make sure notifications are on and the sound is up.
