Another tornado watch included southeast Alabama and was to be in effect until 6 a.m. CDT:
This watch included Geneva, Dale, Henry, Houston and Coffee counties in Alabama.
Barbour and Pike counties were dropped from the watch as of 12:10 a.m.

This was Round 2 of this weekend’s severe weather event. Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings were issued Sunday morning for parts of central Alabama.
Some of those storms had powerful winds, and the weather service in Birmingham received reports of widespread tree damage in Coosa and Tallapoosa counties, including trees that fell on houses, trapping the occupants inside.
Multiple trees were also reported down in the Thorsby area of Chilton County, according to a report to the weather service.
Strong to severe storms were finally pushing out of the state as of 12:30 a.m. but rain would linger for a while longer.
Flooding concerns will linger overnight. A flash flood watch was set to cover parts of central and south Alabama through the overnight hours.
Some areas could get 5 or more inches of rain before it’s over.
Drier weather is expected later today and Tuesday, but forecasters will also be watching the Wednesday night into Thursday timeframe, where another chance for strong storms could develop.
