A local driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 47 near County Road 21 (near Logansville) Saturday afternoon around 1:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Lane Persinger, 21, of Quincy, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus westbound on 47 when he rear-ended a 2019 Chevy Express van operated by Vicki Poorman, 63, of Dayton.
Poorman stopped to make a left turn.
Persinger was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
Poorman, who was wearing her seat belt, was not injured.
Persinger was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance.
State Route 47 was closed for about 30 minutes.
