Severe weather threat ongoing tonight across Southern Colorado - KOAA.com Colorado Springs and Pueblo News

Tonight's Forecast: Severe weather continues this evening across Southern Colorado. In Crowley County, a tornado was spotted this evening just before 7 pm. Other threats tonight will include very strong winds and hail up to 1.5" in diameter.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 51; High: 84. After record setting heat on Tuesday, we should see a few degrees of relief on Wednesday. At the same time, it will be very windy and dry, with Red Flag Warnings set to go into effect at 11 am.

PUEBLO: Low: 53; High: 90. Windy, hot and dry on Wednesday. Red Flag Warnings will go into effect at 11 am, and will continue through 9 pm.

CANON CITY: Low: 55; High: 88. The heat is back on Wednesday, with gusty winds and dry skies expected over Fremont County. Red Flag Warnings will go back into effect at 11 am.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 47; High: 76. Warm and windy, with high fire danger for Teller County. Red Flag Warnings will be in effect most of the day.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 40s/50s; High: 70s/80s. Fire danger levels will be high on Wednesday as we're in store for a very warm and windy day.

PLAINS: Low: 50s; High: 80s/90s. Hot and windy on Wednesday, with some areas going under Red Flag Warnings at 11 am. A slight chance of thunderstorms is possible by the afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Dry skies on Wednesday, with hot and windy weather for southern stretches of the I-25 corridor. Red Flag Warnings will return by late morning.

Extended Outlook: Thursday will be noticeable cooler, with a better chance for scattered afternoon and evening showers. Highs on Thursday with the cool down will return to the 60s and 70s. Thursday and Friday will be dry and warmer, with thunderstorm chances increasing this weekend.
