Minnesota Weather: Tornado Warnings Cancelled In Twin Cities Metro; More Severe Storms Possible Tuesday Evening - CBS Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minnesota is in the midst of severe weather Tuesday evening.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Twin Cities reached the 80-degree mark for the first time since last September, topping out at 81.

Here are the latest weather updates:

7:35 p.m.: The National Weather Service has cancelled the Tornado Warnings for Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties.

7:12 p.m.: Tornado Warnings are issued for Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties until 8 p.m.

6:07 p.m.: WCCO Meteorologist Mike Augustyniak says even though the threat of tornadoes has diminished, there are more severe weather threats possible.

6 p.m.: All Tornado Warnings have expired. Viewer Dan Gottschalk sent WCCO this photo, taken just before 6 p.m. near Alden, which appears to show a wall cloud and several funnels developing.

5:25 p.m.: Tornado Warnings are issued for Faribault, Freeborn, and Waseca counties in Minnesota until 6 p.m.
