TODAY: A stray lingering rain or snow shower will be possible early. Otherwise, highs reach the 40s for most locations with decreasing clouds during the afternoon. Clouds increase overnight with lows in the 20s and 30s.

FRIDAY: The first half of the day will be mostly cloudy with highs reaching the 30s and 40s. A chance for scattered rain moves in during the afternoon. Rain becomes likely overnight, with the potential for a few thunderstorms overnight as well. A couple storms may be severe, with the main threats being large hail and strong winds.

SATURDAY: Warm air briefly surges back into the Northland as highs climb into the upper 40s in northern MN to lower 70s in far southern portions of the region! Rain continues with scattered thunderstorms possible. A few thunderstorms could be strong to severe, especially to our southwest. The main threats at this time are large hail and strong winds.
