Because of severe weather, Princeton University will close today as of 10 a.m. for non-essential personnel. Only employees in essential services roles who are scheduled to work on campus should report to campus.
Employees working remotely should continue to work their remote schedules.
Wind and rain are expected to worsen after 10 a.m. and continue through the day. Avoid walking on campus. If you must be out on campus, use caution. Additional weather alerts will be distributed through the TigerAlert notification system as needed.
At this time, TigerTransit buses are running on a limited schedule.
Visit the University Library website for information about the availability of library services.
The University is expected to resume normal operations at 10 p.m. and all employees with shifts beginning at or after 10 p.m. should report to work as normally scheduled.
Information on Princeton-area weather is available from the National Weather Service. The University also has a page with tips on preparing for and dealing with severe weather.
