After a mild Thursday, tonight will remain mild with increasing clouds. Low temperatures will be in the 60s.
It looks to stay dry until Friday when a chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms returns. The highest coverage of storms is expected to be across East Texas. If the ingredients hold together, some severe weather is possible with the primary threat being large hail along with damaging winds. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Be sure to stay weather aware.
The main time frame for the severe weather threat in DFW will be 4 pm to 9 pm. The potential for storms will shift east through the evening.
The weekend will be dry, breezy and pleasant with highs in the 70s Saturday and 80s Sunday.
