SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The start to our Sunday has been pleasant, but thunderstorms return to Siouxland.
There is a chance of some of those storms being severe, the higher likelihood would be in the eastern portions of Sioux City.
It looks like the evening will be when we start to see these storms.
The storms will continue through the late night, but should end by the morning.
You can mainly expect strong winds and large hail, and even possibly a tornado.
Tomorrow looks to return sunshine and hot temperatures.
The high will be in the mid 90s, but with humidity it will feel like the triple digits.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high in the low 90s.
Tuesday night thunderstorm chances return.
Wednesday will also have thunderstorm chances, with a high in the upper 80s.
Thursday will be partly cloudy, with a high in the low 90s.
Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high in the low 90s.
Fourth of July will be sunny and nice, with a high in the low 90s.
