Firefighters are providing air attack to a fire reignited by strong winds on Peavine Peak Saturday afternoon.
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District said gusty winds have triggered flare-ups, which have now grown into a 250 acre blaze.
Here's what we know about the fire now:
How did the Poeville Fire start?
A vehicle fire caused the Poeville Fire on the east side of Peavine Peak Friday evening, and firefighters had worked through the night and morning to contain it at 1.4 acres, according to the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District.
Then strong Saturday Saturday winds caused the flare-up.
However, Adam Mayberry of TMFD said it is not confirmed yet if the fire is related to a vehicle fire Friday night. "It is under investigation," Mayberry said.

How many acres is the Poeville Fire on Peavine? Where is it now?
It grew to 1,500 acres in the early Saturday evening as winds blew, threatening dozens of structures in the Seneca, Kiowa, Blackfoot, Chippewa, Dakota, Haida Court, Sauk, Hopi Lane and Hopi Court, Mandan Way, Peavine Peak Road neighborhoods, according to the Washoe Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were contacting residents in those neighborhoods about the evacuation notice Saturday afternoon.
The fire has moved from the top of Peavine and is now close to Virginia Street, burning about five miles north of the University of Nevada, Reno.
About 250 personnel are battling the flames.
“We are attacking this with as many resources as we can,” said Mayberry.
There are a number of aircraft supporting the effort including the RAVEN helicopter from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. Mayberry also said fire crews are using a bulldozer to create a fire line, but there is no fire containment as of about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Evacuations were extended south to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. The new evacuation area runs from Hoge Road about three miles and across McCarran Boulevard.

"It's not good if they are cutting the power. They are trying to get ahead of it and keep everyone safe," Sheltra said.
Where should residents evacuate?
Around 2:15 p.m., TMFR advised that an evacuation center has been set up at the Washoe County Senior Services Center at Ninth Street and North Wells Avenue.
An evacuation center for livestock is at the Reno Livestock Events Center.
