SEVERE T-STORM WATCH until 9 pm tonight. Primary threats include quarter size hail or larger and gusty winds. Isolated tornado threat low. Target areas look to be east of I-25 in Northern El Paso County along hwy 24.
TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms linger into the early evening hours with most of the convection dying off by around 9 PM. Partial clearing overnight with morning lows in the upper-50s and low-60s around the region.
EXTENDED: Sunny to partly cloudy skies for Thursday afternoon with a smaller chance for isolated late-day showers and thunderstorms. A quieter weather pattern setting up as we head into the weekend. Precipitation chances drop significantly for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low to mid-90s around Colorado Springs and the upper-90s and low triple digits around Pueblo.
