Some spots in the Twin Cities could touch 80 degrees. Our average high is just 62 this time of year. Far northern Minnesota will see highs in the 60s.

Thunderstorm chances increase later Saturday
Thunderstorms are expected to develop in western Minnesota Saturday afternoon, then spread to the east and northeast Saturday evening and overnight Saturday night.
Our best thunderstorm chances in the Twin Cities metro area will be in the 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. time frame, but scattered thunderstorms are possible in the metro anytime after about 7 p.m. Saturday.
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center shows a slight risk of severe weather Saturday and Saturday night in the yellow-shaded areas of western and central Minnesota:

Slight risk means that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible in the dark-green shaded area, which includes the Twin Cities.
