STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Halloween is all about fun, but one Annadale block has really outdone themselves with festivities.
Serena Court, which is off of Amboy Road, held its second Halloween Block Party after the COVID pandemic put a halt on trick-or-treating in 2020.
An Annadale block held its second annual Halloween Block Party, filled with various children activities.
Lorraine Montesi, one of the organizers, said the block party was brought back by popular demand of neighbors on the block.
“We have at least 38 kids on the block,” Montesi said, “We have a bunch of activities for kids to do and just enjoy the day.”

The festivities included cotton candy, popcorn, rock climbing, an ice cream truck, a DJ with music, and games for children of all ages.
Children could be seen rock climbing, in the bouncy house, as well as playing a mummy wrap with toilet paper near the DJ.

Children could be seen in their Halloween costumes, and with smiles.
Serena Court is closed off, but any one who wishes to trick-or-treat is allowed.
