4Warn Weather – Good Sunday afternoon!
Conditions will be drier today. We have some morning cloud cover that will break up into a mixture of sun and clouds today.
Highs will be in the upper 70s, close to 80 degrees. A northerly wind will blow at 5-10 mph.
Skies will be clear overnight into Monday. It will be mild with lows in the lower 60s -- so it will be a night to kick open the windows and give the A/C a break.
Staying dry Monday
Drier weather is expected to continue on Monday.
Highs will rise into the upper 80s by Monday afternoon.
An air quality alert has been issued for Monday due to “bad ozone.” Pollutants are expected to mix with the warm air and impact air quality. The air is expected to be in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range.
Rain, storm chances Tuesday
Our next chance of rain rolls in Tuesday along with a cold front.
We’ll remain dry for most of the day. Highs will stay in the upper 80s.
Clouds will increase later in the day, with a few thunderstorms developing then, as well. The Storm Prediction Center has placed our region under a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for severe weather later Tuesday. A few storms could be on the stronger side, with gusty winds and hail being the primary threats.
Heavy rainfall possible Wednesday
Showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday, as well. Highs will drop into the lower 80s.
There are some indications we could see a decent amount of rainfall Wednesday, as the cold front stalls across the region. Southeast Michigan will be under a slight risk (level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall on Wednesday.
Rain continues Thursday
With this frontal boundary close by the region, showers and thunderstorms will remain possible on Thursday. Highs will be in the lower 80s again.
Drier Friday, more weekend rain
Conditions will be drier on Friday with some sunshine moving back into the region. Highs will remain in the lower and mid-80s.
Some of Saturday will remain dry, but shower chances are expected to arrive during the day. Highs will again be in the 80s.
