Today: Enjoy another really nice day with sunny skies and low humidity. We will see highs in the mid 80s to near 90 with a south breeze at 5 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Clouds will increase tonight to give us partly cloudy skies as there will be a chance for some scattered showers and storms. These are not expected to be severe. We will see lows in the low to mid 60s with a southeast breeze at 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday: A warm front will move in and should clear out the rain/clouds early in the morning. Highs will surge to the low and mid 90s with humidity increasing for the day off of a breezy south wind. With sunshine and the hot temps, the atmosphere will destabilize. As a cold front moves through in the late afternoon/evening, strong to severe storms will look to develop and move through the area.
We would see the potential for damaging wind gusts and large hail as the main threats but an isolated tornado or two will be possible. Storms will continue to push out through the overnight hours. Stay weather aware.
Friday: We will settle back down to highs in the mid and upper 80s and low 90s with mostly sunny skies. We will have a breezy northwest wind lowering humidity.
Weekend: Saturday looks beautiful with sunshine and highs in the mid 80s. Humidity will be low. A system on Father's Day Sunday could usher in some soaking rains/storms and clouds, along with temps staying in the 80s.
Next Week: Temperatures look cooler to kick off summer with a few rain/storm chances and partly cloudy skies. Temps warm through the week.
