A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH has been issued for portions of eastern Iowa until 9 p.m.
Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Grundy, Tama and Winneshiek counties are included in the watch.
A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH is in effect for the remaining counties until 11 p.m.

Large hail and damaging wind are the main threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Forecast
Tonight: Rain and thunderstorms will exit eastern Iowa by 10 p.m. or shortly after. The sky becomes mostly clear overnight with temperatures falling back into the 50s. It will be breezy with a northwest wind 10-20 mph.
Monday: Aside from some passing clouds, the sky will be mostly sunny and it will be noticeably cooler and less humid. It will also be windy. Northwest wind 15-25 mph keeps temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Monday Night: It will be a little chilly with temperatures in the middle to upper 40s. The sky will be clear to partly cloudy.
Tuesday: The next potential of showers and thunderstorms moves in late in the afternoon and especially overnight. Temperatures will be a little warmer in the upper 70s to near 80°.
There is another chance of rain and storms Thursday.
