Dallas weather: Saturday storms could be severe, with hail, damaging wind - FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth

North Texas could see multiple rounds of rain and storms on Saturday and there is a chance they could be severe.

A large area of North Texas is under an "enhanced" risk of severe weather. That is a 3 out of 5 on the National Weather Service's scale.

There will likely be two rounds of storms on Saturday.

One in the morning around sunrise with a complex from Oklahoma.

The second system depends on what happens in the morning.

If the coverage is higher in the morning, then the severe risk in the afternoon will be lower.

If the coverage is lower in the morning, then the afternoon/evening risk will be higher and storms could produce large hail and 60+ mph winds.

The second round will likely start to pick up around 4 p.m.
