Severe Weather Threat Continues - WeatherNation

The severe weather threat continues to impact Texas on Friday, from the I-45 corridor east to the Gulf Coast and Central Florida. Gusty winds, large hail and an isolated spin-up will be possible. During the day we will see the severe weather threat develop towards the Dallas area and move east throughout the afternoon and evening.

Overnight into early Saturday morning, strong and potentially severe storms will be possible across far western Texas, towards Laredo as storms move off the mountains of Mexico. Large hail will be the primary concern.

More isolated storms will feature the opportunity for tornadic activity. The threat is low, but not zero. Please be aware of the severe weather threat through the afternoon and evening.

Heavy rain will be possible with any storm that develops, which will lead to flash flooding concerns due to the heavy rain over the past few days. Don’t drive through flooded roadways!
