Deluxe.
It’s not a word often associated with camping — especially during the rainy season on the Oregon coast.
But my colleagues and I took refuge from the elements inside a “deluxe cabin” at Fort Stevens State Park earlier this autumn, keeping cozy while rain fell outside.
The wet weather would have made tent camping less than desirable. But we stayed warm and dry inside our pet-friendly, heated cabin, which featured bunk beds, a bathroom and kitchenette.
