Council for the Homeless issued a severe weather alert for tonight, which prompts the opening of additional shelter spaces.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature will drop to 33 degrees in Vancouver. Those seeking shelter should call the Housing Hotline at 360-695-9677, which is open 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends.
