Another Round of Strong to Severe Storm Saturday - wyomingnewsnow.tv

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Parts of the state will remain under a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5. The cities that are included are Cheyenne, Rawlins, Laramie, Casper, Wheatland, and Torrington. Storms will continue to fire up early this evening and move eastward. If you hear thunder roar go indoors! Remember to stay away from the windows during a storm as flying debris and hail can break windows. Tonight temperatures will remain fairly warm in the upper 30s and 40s with mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday will be very similar to today with a marginal risk is in effect for cities such as: Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie, Rawlins, and Riverton. The main impacts tomorrow are strong winds, hail, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Storms will start to fire up late tomorrow morning and will continue for the afternoon and into the evening hours before either fizzling out or moving out of the viewing area. Temperatures will remain in the upper 50s and 60s with Cheyenne being one of the chilly spots at 58 degrees while Casper will hit 68 degrees.

Sunday another marginal risk is in effect for the far southeastern parts of Wyoming which does include Cheyenne. Storms will fire up Sunday afternoon and will continue for the evening hours. Please stay weather aware over the weekend with the risk for severe weather in place!
