A Waterloo man faces numerous charges after assaulting several police officers.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to a domestic incident early Saturday morning, where a woman was reportedly assaulted.
When officers tried to arrest the man, he allegedly became violent, assaulting numerous officers, with one of the officers being taken to Grand River Hospital to treat a severe bite mark.
Police also seized firearms and a taser from the residence.
The man is being held for a bail hearing and faces numerous charges.
