(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern Todd County, northwestern Stearns County and southwestern Morrison County until 7:30 p.m.
At 6:54 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Sauk Centre, moving northeast at 55 mph. The storm is packing 60 mph wind gusts. Tree damage has been reported near Sauk Centre. Officials say to expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. There is also a chance of hail.
The severe thunderstorm will be near Grey Eagle around 7:05 p.m. Swanville and Flensburg around 7:15 p.m.
Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include St. Rosa, Long Prairie Airport, Round Prairie, New Munich, Sauk Centre
Airport, Sobieski, Burtrum, North Shore, Little Sauk and Pleasant Beach.
For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
