Yuhas noted the severe weather will hit the metro between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Then, the strong storms are expected to move into Rochester and Wisconsin after 5 p.m.
Yuhas said the biggest risks to watch out for include hail, heavy rains and strong wind gusts between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday.
In addition, an isolated tornado threat could be in play, especially around 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Twin Cities.
