Flights delayed, canceled as airlines brace for another day of severe weather - Hawaii News Now

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A winter storm battering the state is also creating a big headache for travelers.

As of about noon Monday, there were at least 10 flight cancelations and well over 100 delays at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, according to Flight Aware.

The disruptions come after a “rare” pocket of severe turbulence hit a Hawaiian Airlines flight to Honolulu on Sunday, leaving 36 people injured, including 11 seriously.

Airlines are urging travelers to check on their flights before they head to the airport.
